The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) will present the annual Members Show at the SMAC gallery at 7 Downing Street in Historic Downtown Hollister. Each year, SMAC celebrates our members by inviting them to participate in this much anticipated event. The exhibit will showcase the many talented individuals that comprise our membership. A wide range of mediums including painting, drawing, collage, ceramics, assemblage and more will be on display. The show runs January 2-31. The opening reception will be Friday, January 2, from 6 to 9pm.
Many of the twenty-seven participating artists will be available to discuss their work during the reception. Feature artists include: Sharon Adcock, Mary Arneson, Meika Aton, Jane Ballard, Tonya Barnes, Tenille Blair-Neff, Kim Cooper, Randy Dietz,Bruce Emeric, Finn Erickson, Jenny Green, Joanne Harthoorn, Jennifer Hernandez, Anthony Hunter, Jasmine Hutton, Janette Johnson, Gala Keller, Nancy Kolb, Eros Neff, Pamela Nihells, Savannah Richardson, Christine Riutzel, Vince Salomon, Mary Swanger, Alex Tabor, Mary Evelyn Tucker, Shane Vozar, and Julie Zetina. Attendees may view the exhibit, tour the private studios, and enjoy complimentary refreshments. Vintage Paris Coffee kiosk will also be on site.
Each month during their exhibits, SMAC highlights one of the many local non-profit organizations that serves the area. This month SMAC is drawing attention to House of Hope, which offers services to the homeless in the Branson area, including a warming center for freezing nights. They connect their clients to resources so they can make positive changes that will move their lives forward. Learn more at houseofhopebranson.org
