Hollister is built on partnerships, and we are proud of the relationships we have throughout the community. As the City of Hollister looks for ways to assist our team members with their wellness goals, our good friends at Bearfoot Studios spent some time teaching basic Yoga and Meditation techniques to tackle those stressful moments we all face. Thank you very much to Angel Adams for sharing her passion for wellness with our team, introducing us to in-person classes, and helping us serve our community healthier and stronger each day! Stop by their location on Gage Drive or visit https://bearfootstudiosmo.com/ for more information.

This past Wednesday, City of Hollister’s Leadership Team was joined by Ms. Cathy Stepp, City Administrator for the City of Branson. Ms. Stepp shared her valuable experiences in leadership and key characteristics that you find in leaders. She reminded us of the value of being a good human, listening more than speaking, setting your expectations and exceeding them, and being the person your team wants to follow. Thank you to Ms. Stepp and the City of Branson for the continued partnership in growing our communities and future leaders together.

July 4th Fireworks
With less than two weeks left until July 4th, the City of Hollister is busy preparing our community for the 71st Annual Fireworks Display. Our 1,000-shell show is always a crowd pleaser, and we are excited to share it with our residents, businesses and the many visitors that spend the evening with us. The fireworks could not happen without the support of our community. Last year, we had our most successful donation campaign, raising the funds necessary to purchase this year’s fireworks. We are working hard again, and thankful to the many individuals and businesses that have already helped us to reach $10,000 of our goal of $15,000. We are so close to our goal!! If you would like to help Hollister continue the tradition, please stop by City Hall to donate in person, mail your donation to PO Box 638, Hollister, MO 65673 or visit hollisterchamber.net to donate online. Thank you to everyone that is edging us closer every day to our goal! We can’t wait to see you on July 4th in downtown Hollister!!

Our July 4th Fireworks Donation Campaign is in full swing!! This year, if you donate $500 or more, we will save you a parking spot at City Hall. One of the most coveted places to view the fireworks, Chad A. Fuqua Memorial Parks’ parking spaces fill up quickly. For our Rocket-level donors, or those donating at least $1,000, we will reserve your space at the park, or you may opt to watch the fireworks up close on the “hill.” To reserve parking, donations must be received by June 28th. We look forward to seeing you on July 4th and celebrating our 71st Annual Fireworks Display.
