The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) will present the annual Members Show at the SMAC gallery at 7 Downing Street in Historic Downtown Hollister. Each year, SMAC celebrates our members by inviting them to participate in this much anticipated event. The exhibit will showcase the many talented individuals that comprise our membership. A wide range of mediums including painting, drawing, collage, ceramics, assemblage and more will be on display. The show runs January 2-31. The City of Hollister is conducting an online auction for a 2002 Ford F650 Dump Truck now through Tuesday, January 6, 2026. The City has contracted with Purple Wave Auction, a company that specializes in internet-only auctions, to give bidders the chance to view items, read descriptions, see pictures and place bids all from the convenience of a computer. As the end of the year approaches, please remember to renew your pet licenses for 2026. It is also a great time to register your dog or cat for the first time.
