It is hard to believe that in just 30 days, July 4th will be here. One of the most exciting and busiest days in downtown Hollister, the City looks forward to celebrating our 72nd Annual Fireworks Show this year. With the help of our community last year, we were able to purchase the fireworks for this year’s show with donations only for the third year in a row. Our 1,000-shell show is just shy of $16,000, and our hope is to have another successful campaign to raise the funds for next year’s display. For the next 30 days, we will ask for donations to continue the tradition. If you would like to help us kick off the campaign, you may donate at City Hall, mail your donation to City of Hollister, PO Box 638, Hollister, MO 65673. Contact Denise for more information at dolmstead@hollistermo.gov. We can’t wait to see you on July 4th in downtown Hollister to celebrate Independence Day, and what it means to live in a great community!
