Today, The Hollister Police department is proud to unveil our newly designed police badges — a symbol of service, integrity, and our unwavering commitment to the Hollister community we are honored to protect. These updated badges reflect both tradition and progress. The new badge comes with new leadership as Chief Stirewalt assumes command as the Chief of Police, the new badge incorporates modern elements that represent our continued dedication to professionalism, accountability, and unity.

Every badge issued is more than a piece of metal. It is a promise — to stand for justice, to serve with compassion, and to uphold the trust our community places in us every day. We look forward to wearing these badges with pride as we continue building strong relationships, fostering transparency, and working together for a safer, stronger Hollister community.

The City of Hollister team is prepping for the upcoming winter weather. In an effort to assist with snow removal, please remove trash cans and have vehicles when possible parked off the street. Please check road conditions before you travel. We would also like to remind homeowners that during colder temperatures, dripping your kitchen or bathroom faucets and leaving under sink cabinets opened help to prevent water lines from freezing.
