Building Official’s Monthly Reminder. . .Each month our Building Official, Kathy Knight, will share helpful information for use around your home or business. This month, Ms. Knight shares the importance of having your 911 address listed on your home or business. When you are experiencing the worse day of your life and emergency responders are on their way, the last thing either of you want is to be unable to easily find your location. Have your numbers placed on the exterior of your structure, facing the street in no less than 4-inch sized lettering that contrasts with the background colors. If you have questions regarding the location to place your address, contact Ms. Knight and she will be glad to meet you at your home or business to ensure the number is placed correctly. Call her office at 417-337-9756 with questions or to schedule a meeting.
