The Hollister Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Health Markets agent Sam Deter, present the Senior Expo, this Saturday, October 4th.  This free event will feature presentations, exhibitors and helpful information for our senior community. Hollister Schools will celebrate Homecoming this evening with their parade and bonfire.  Downing Street will close to traffic at 6:00pm to prepare for the parade at 7:00pm.  During the parade, Business 65 will close for a short time while the parade leaves Downing Street and travels to Saint James.  Please be alert to pedestrians and traffic throughout downtown. The Southern Missouri Arts Connection (SMAC) will present the sixth annual Post-It Note, 3"x3" Art Show at the SMAC gallery at 7 Downing Street in Historic Downtown Hollister. Each year, SMAC invites local artists to create miniature artworks presented on a standard size sticky note (3” x 3” square), canvas, paper or other substrate for this unique exhibit. All works of art will be sold at the affordable price of just $5 each. Proceeds are split between the artist and SMAC. Come celebrate autumn with the Hollister Area Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, October 11th at their annual Grape & Fall Festival. The City of Hollister Team enjoyed the beautiful autumn weather today in Hulland Park at our annual picnic.   After lunch from El Patio, we shared some laughs as we tested our skills with classic yard games.  Thank you to our community for allowing our team to spend time together and celebrate our successful year!   



Water will be off at Lakeshore RV park sometime between the hours of 9:00 am and 11:00 am this morning, due to water line maintenance.
