Upgrades are coming to Braden Recreational Complex. Beginning July 6th, work will begin to resurface the current pickleball courts as well as add two additional courts. Public Works will begin installation of a new sidewalk along the parking lot and to the court area. All work is dependent on weather and is expected to take two to three weeks. During this time, the pickleball courts will be closed, and please use caution around any work zones. Water service may be interrupted at certain houses on Walnut st and Taneycomo Hill this morning due to water line maintenance.
Thank you to our partners at Western Taney County Fire Protection District for the assistance last night with lighting our job site. Public Works was able to continue well into the overnight to repair a water main break to ensure service was restored as quickly as possible. We are grateful to our community partners and their commitment to Hollister.
Due to a water main break in the area of New Life Temple, residents may experience a loss of water service while crews work to complete repairs.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to restore service as quickly as possible. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
Update:
Repairs to the Knox Well have been completed successfully. Water pressure will gradually return to normal as the water tower refills and the system stabilizes.
