At the Board of Aldermen meeting on April 16th, our Elected and Appointed Officials were sworn in for their next term. Congratulations to Mayor Jeff Long, Alderman Ward I Bryan Richards, Alderman Ward II Chris Kaempfer, City Administrator Lamar Patton, City Clerk Bridget Epps and City Attorney Rudy Arambulo. Starting tomorrow morning 4/16/26 at 8:30 am Railroad Ave will be down to one lane as Public Works performes there yearly maintenance of the right of way. Please be prepared for delays and always use cation in a work zone there will be signs and flaggers please follow the flaggers instructions so that we are able to keep everyone safe thank you. Will notify when both lanes have been reopened.

Please welcome to the City of Hollister, Officer Erin Anderson as the newest member of our Hollister Police Department Team. Officer Anderson is very family-oriented and is a lifelong Ozark area resident. Officer Anderson served Honorably in the United States Marine Corp for four years and comes to us with private security and physical fitness instructor experience. Officer Anderson is excited for her new journey in law enforcement as a part of the Hollister family. Please help me in congratulating Officer Anderson and welcoming her to our Hollister Community.
The City of Hollister's Police Department will host a drug take back location as part of the National DEA Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Visit you Hollister Walgreens on April 25th from 10:00am to 2:00pm to turn in your unused/expired medication in a safe, free and anonymous disposal. If you are able to attend during this time, a drop box is located in the lobby of the Hollister Police Department for use at anytime during the year.
Save the date and plan to attend the City of Hollister's Hat-titude Ball on Friday, May 1st. This free, family-friendly event will take place at the Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Come enjoy the evening and learn more about the history of the community we call home!

The Hollister Police Department is proud to welcome aboard Detective Dan Luttrell to our team. Luttrell comes to us with 30 years of law enforcement experience and 12 of those were spent in Investigations with the Taney County Sheriff's Office. His vast knowledge of criminal Investigation will assist our team in learning how to better serve the Hollister community. Luttrell is a long time Taney County resident and is first and foremost a family oriented man. Please join us in welcoming Detective Luttrell to the Hollister Community.
