With a little less than two weeks left until July 4th, the City of Hollister is busy preparing our community for the 70th Annual Fireworks Display. Our 1,000-shell show is always a crowd pleaser, and we are excited to share it with our residents, businesses and the many visitors that spend the evening with us. The fireworks could not happen without the support of our community. Last year, we had our most successful donation campaign, raising the funds necessary to purchase this year’s fireworks. We are working hard again, and thankful to the many individuals and businesses that have already helped us to reach over half of our goal of $15,000. If you would like to help Hollister continue the tradition, please stop by City Hall to donate in person, mail your donation to PO Box 638, Hollister, MO 65673 or visit hollisterchamber.net to donate online. Thank you to everyone that is edging us closer every day to our goal! We can’t wait to see you on July 4th in downtown Hollister!!

Our July 4th Fireworks Donation Campaign is in full swing!! This year, if you donate $500 or more, we will save you a parking spot at City Hall. One of the most coveted places to view the fireworks, Chad A. Fuqua Memorial Parks’ parking spaces fill up quickly. For our Rocket-level donors, or those donating at least $1,000, we will reserve your space at the park, or you may opt to watch the fireworks up close on the “hill.” To reserve parking, donations must be received by June 28th. We look forward to seeing you on July 4th and celebrating our 70th Annual Fireworks Display.
